Marvel Spiderman 2 pc Critique
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was released by Insomniac Games for PS5 in 2023 and for PC in 2025. In this game, we witness the relationship between Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson with Harry Osborn, as well as the emotional bond between Miles Morales and Martin Li.The main story is filled with thrilling and intense moments, although some side missions interrupt the immersion in the game’s narrative. However, the side stories have seen significant improvement compared to the previous installment. These stories introduce many emotional connections and feature beautiful storytelling, which enhances the overall gameplay experience. The side characters are well-developed, though some are removed from the story too soon, leaving room for further exploration of their backgrounds. The graphics have seen a remarkable improvement over the previous version and can even compete with Batman: Arkham Knight (2015), possibly surpassing it in some aspects. The fast travel system is incredibly fast, making loading times practically nonexistent—even on weaker systems like the GTX 1650. However, the game’s music is somewhat weaker compared to previous titles. In past installments, the soundtrack effectively conveyed feelings of heroism, danger, or sorrow, but in this game, it lacks a strong emotional impact—except for certain sequences and the main theme, which are relatively well done. The voice acting is exceptional, especially Venom’s performance, which stands out in all Spider-Man-related content. The user interface retains its customization options from previous games, but it could have been better if it adopted a Spider-Man-themed UI. The map is large and rich, and the addition of the wingsuit and new flight mechanics makes traversing the city even more enjoyable. One of the biggest issues with the game is the presence of numerous bugs, especially when using DLSS on high-end graphics cards, which often leads to crashes. Some bugs even make the game unplayable at times. Since the game is still new, the support for future patches remains to be seen. For this reason, my review is currently in the demo section, and after six months, I will re-evaluate the game and write a full review, moving it to the main reviews section.
